Fiery Sunset Bead Necklace by AuraGemi Fiery Sunset Bead Necklace by AuraGemi
EDIT: So I finally got Photoshop and I thought I'd use it to correct the colors in all my pictures since my camera was never really good at capturing something's true colors.

Alright, so these are a few beads I made a looooong time ago. So long ago I can't even remember just how long ago it was. Heck, I was probably fresh out of elementary school when I made these! :XD:

My mom put the necklace together because I didn't yet know how to assemble clasps and such, but I made the three beads myself. :) Something cool about them is that the two beads on the ends are made from what is known as striking glass. It's a type of glass that starts out clear, but changes color the longer they are exposed to the flame! ^^

I just really like how simple, yet nice the necklace looks. :D

LOL I think I see a distorted hand and camera on the middle bead. XD
This looks good like the others you've made. Love how simple it is, but it looks like it's really cool to wear outside. I've always had a thing for crystal/jade bracelets. :giggle:

LOL Oh my gosh, you can! XD Shows you just how shiny glass beads can be! :D
I really love making glass beads, but I haven't done it actively in quite a while, so I'm a bit rusty. ^^;

Very VEEEERY shiny! :love:
aaaaa soooo sorry for the late reply ;A;
Aww, I see! I'm pretty sure it would look great! I haven't done a painting in years, but I managed to make a fairly okay one. In any case, I'd love to see more bead works! :heart:

Don't worry about it. :)
I have a few more pictures of beads I can post, I think, but I think that they're all my mom's work, so you'll get to see the really good stuff now! Not my amateur work. lol :XD:

That's so cool! If you don't mind me asking, how were you able to make the beads as a kid "fresh out of elementary school"? I mean, it doesn't really seem like something you can just bake in the oven...Well, either way, it's a gorgeous necklace. =D

Well, that's if I'm even remembering correctly! :XD: I could be over-exaggerating how long ago it was that I made them, but I swear it feels like it was that long ago. I know that it had to be at least one or two years before I transitioned to high school, but I really wouldn't be surprised if my original guess wasn't too far off. My mom started teaching me how to make them not long after she started, and they're not as hard to make as you would think. You just need to be careful around the flame. :)
